Yes — PollVey is free for personal use, including creating polls and surveys and voting, and Personal accounts never use Poll Credits. Business features like analytics, result exports, segmentation, and team collaboration require a business subscription, which starts with a complimentary 14-Day Business Trial that needs no payment method.

PollVey is a cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android, backed by a secure cloud service. It's coming soon to the App Store and Google Play — join early access to be notified at launch.

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country sets a higher minimum. Accounts aged 13–17 receive protective settings that are enforced on PollVey’s servers and cannot be configured away by the account holder, and a linked guardian may apply further controls.

Four formats: Question (text options), Picture (images), Audio (sound clips), and Video (video clips). PollVey is the only mainstream platform with native audio and video polls.

Yes. Results can stream live, stay hidden until the poll closes (to reduce bandwagon bias), be creator-only, or be shown only to participants.

Results render as animated bar, pie, and donut charts in real time, alongside a Response Timeline you can play back to watch when responses arrived. When a poll or survey closes it moves to your Archive, where the final results stay available.

Every poll and survey is filed under one of 20 categories — from Sports and Food to Business, Health, and Current Events. One-tap filters narrow long lists to a single topic.

Poll Groups are named audiences — like "Book Club," "Soccer Parents," or "Roommates" — that let you send the right poll to the right people again and again. Creating one takes seconds: name the group, give it a color, choose a category, and add members.

When you create or edit a group, add members from your friends and followers. Once they're in, every future poll or survey you send to that group reaches them instantly — no need to re-add anyone. You can update a group's members anytime.

Yes. Each group is assigned a group category — Friends, Family, Coworkers, Sports, School, Community or Other — plus an emoji and a colour, so your groups stay tidy and easy to find as you create more of them.

PollVey has built-in direct messaging so you can discuss polls, share results, and coordinate plans without leaving the app. You can send a poll or its live results straight into a conversation and rally votes in real time.

Yes. Messages stay private between you and the people you're chatting with, and messaging carries the same moderation, one-tap reporting, and blocking protections as the rest of PollVey. The same teen safety protections apply for accounts aged 13–17.

AI helps you ask better questions and understand answers faster: an AI Poll Coach that scores clarity, bias, reading level, audience match and more; an AI Survey Builder; a question quality score with concrete suggestions; result insights for the creator; and translation. AI features send the relevant content to a third-party AI provider for processing — the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent.

No. Anything an AI feature drafts or improves for you is a suggestion — you review, edit and choose to publish it, and PollVey never publishes content on your behalf. There is one place AI acts automatically: the moderation classifier runs before publication and can block content without a person reviewing it first. AI output can be wrong, and you are responsible for what you publish.

The Business Trial applies to business accounts only — personal accounts are always free and don’t need a Business Trial or a subscription. On a Business Trial you get full Starter features plus 50 complimentary Poll Credits. No payment method is required and the trial is not charged. The trial belongs to the business organization, identified by its business email domain, not to an individual user: each organization is eligible for exactly one, and team members who join during an active trial share the same remaining time rather than getting a new 14 days. An administrator can cancel the trial — access continues to the original end date, and cancelling does not restore eligibility. Neither does deleting or re-creating the account. You can subscribe at any time.

Poll Credits are prepaid consumable purchases that meter responses to business content — Personal accounts never use them. Publishing and distributing is always free. One credit is used when, and only when, a business account receives a valid, completed response from a participant answering that poll or survey for the first time. Repeat submissions, answer changes, incomplete or rejected responses, views, and your own response to your own content are all free. Balances appear in your Business Dashboard, PollVey notifies you as they run low, and you can buy more anytime. If your balance reaches zero the content closes — this never changes the response deadline you set. Credits do not expire through inactivity, but unused credits are forfeited if you permanently delete your account.

Yes. Business authors can set an optional Maximum Responses limit on any individual poll or survey — a cap on the number of valid completed responses it will accept. It's off by default. When the limit is reached the content closes automatically, every response you've collected is preserved, and you're notified as it approaches (75%, 90%) and reaches (100%) the cap. The limit counts completed responses — not views or reach — and you can raise or remove it at any time.

All digital purchases go through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing and are subject to that store’s terms. PollVey never collects or stores your card number, bank details or billing address. Every purchase is verified on PollVey’s servers before anything is granted, and each store transaction can only be applied once. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies — PollVey does not process refunds for store purchases. Subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings; PollVey cannot cancel a store subscription, and deleting your PollVey account does not cancel one either.

Creating new business polls and surveys stops until you renew or reactivate. Your account, your existing content and results, and your Poll Credit balance are not deleted or cleared.

PollVey applies data minimization and granular visibility controls, and does not sell personal data. Creators choose who can find, vote, and see results. A survey can be set so its owner does not see who gave which answer — that changes what other people see, but PollVey still links a response to the account that gave it, in order to reject duplicates and meter Poll Credits correctly. Polls have no anonymous mode. You can edit your profile and permanently delete your account at any time; some financial, safety and abuse-prevention records are retained after deletion with your name, email and phone removed. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is kept.

An automated classifier checks content before it is published and can block it; people review reports and cases. You can report polls, surveys, direct messages, group messages, users and businesses, and you can block people. It is all backed by the Community Guidelines, which prohibit harassment, hate, spam and exploitation. PollVey does not currently have an appeals button in the app — section 13 of the Guidelines explains what to do if you disagree with a decision.

From Settings in the app, at any time. The Delete Account page explains the same process on the web. Before you confirm, the app shows you an assessment generated from your actual account. Deletion is permanent. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription — cancel that in your store account first — unused Poll Credits are forfeited, and business trial eligibility is not restored.

Teen accounts (13–17) get more private defaults and restricted discovery, and content is classified before delivery so only content rated Teen Safe reaches them. PollVey runs no advertising and builds no behavioural ad profiles. These protections are enforced on PollVey’s servers and can’t be configured away by the account holder, and a linked guardian may apply further controls.
